NEW MEDIA FILM COMPETITION

This year, the New Screens section will showcase the most eclectic trends on the web, highlighting the increasing freedom offered by this medium.

Directors have ventured far afield, offering us a journey to remember!

We’ll share the moral dilemmas of Kiefer Sutherland in the Web Series The Confession and laugh with Le Centre, a biting Web Series set in a divided Belgium. From the suspended beauty of Nuit Blanche to the nail-bitingly poetic dreamscape of Ghost to the enfant terrible of indie US film, Harmony Korine, and his road movie in a wheel chair, the New Media Films promise to take you to worlds you least expect!

We’ll continue the Interactive adventure, which takes a green tack with the Collapsus experiment and a fun turn with a special screening of the most innovative digital projects, reinventing the clips and films of the future in line with tomorrow’s inventive and original directors.
